July 2013 - New Hampshire Governon Maggie Hassan signed Senate Bill 98 into law. The new law will allow small in state hydroelectric sites with a capacity of 1 Megawatt or less to sell net metered energy. Click here for more details.

June 2012 - New Hampshire Governor John Lynch signed Senate Bill 218 into law. The new law will allow small in state hydro power sites with a capacity of 1 Megawatt or less to qualify to produce New Hampshire Class IV RECs. Click here for more details.
October 2011 - GSHA member Spaulding Hydro was awarded a $165,000 renewable energy fund grant from the New Hampshire PUC which will allow the project to replace an existing culvert in the tailrace with four new culverts, thereby increasing the generating capacity of the project by 18%.
